Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for the TKO win in the second round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first fight of note came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
