She is known for her performances as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant the 2005 show on Fox and as Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. In the Guiding Light soap show, she was Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award by Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding newcomer. Dollar was on screen as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until 2008 on ABC's Women's Murder Club. Dollar was a part of in the 2011 NBC series pilot Happy Valley but it was not aired.
