McKayla Rose Maroney, also called 'Mack Air Maroney' is a famous American gymnast, who was awarded a gold medal with the US Olympics gymnastics team and an individual silver medal in vaulting at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. Her parents were active in athletics, and this led her to start gymnastics from a young age. Her specialty was the vault. The only person that has been able to defend her gold medal from the 2011 world championships. In addition, she was also the winner of it in the 2013 World Championships. The disappointment she felt when she received the silver in 2012 in the vault was obvious and she was hoping to win another gold medal at the Rio Olympic Games of 2016. She announced her retirement before the Olympic Games began due to injuries and health issues. She has also appeared in several television series and plans to make her debut in the world of art. McKayla looks forward to an exciting career. McKayla is already an established star in her right, both as a successful athlete as well as an overall accomplished personality.
